pageAccess on a user document lists which index settings appear on that user’s dashboard.

Structure

Each entry references an index setting:
Only active index settings should be assigned.

Admin dashboard

Admins typically have broader pageAccess — all indices they manage. Admin dashboard tabs initialize from this list plus user activeTab preferences.

User dashboard

Non-admin users:
  • See one tab per pageAccess entry only
  • Cannot add tabs or open indices not assigned
  • Manual buy buttons scoped to visible indices

Updating access

  1. Edit user in Users → Edit
  2. Check/uncheck indices
  3. Save — backend emits userSettingUpdated → socket updateUserSettingData to that user’s connected clients
User may need to refresh if not connected via socket.
